After a few hours you puzzled out how to enter this old alien ship. It’s your big chance to make money by selling alien technology to the Confederation or the Rebellion. But after you have successfully removed what seems to be some kind of weapon and installed it on your own vessel, you see a black and red colored little ship falling out of hyperspace, suddenly knowing that not all aliens of this  cruiser are dead. You know that if you want to survive you must leave this sector as quickly as possible.
